It is important that we keep our employees and our passengers safe during travel on our service. Our drivers are screened before the start of each day. All passengers will be required to wear a facial covering. Social distancing when possible, including waiting in line, during the boarding and departing process, and if there is enough room on board the bus.
We understand that bus travel can make social distancing difficult. To help protect yourself and those around you when you travel, wear your face covering throughout the trip as required and sanitize your hands regularly.
We ask that if you do not feel well, please do not board the bus. We ask you to stay home to ensure the safety of those around you.
Any individual not following the above-mentioned rules may result in the authorities being notified and that person being removed from the bus immediately.
(If you are unable to wear a face covering for any reason including a medical condition, we regret that you will not be able to travel at this time.) This is for the safety of all passengers and employees.
Please note: Due to the uncertainty regarding COVID-19, all sales are final.
Physical Distancing
- We require customers to wear a face covering while onboard the bus
- We are encouraging customers to use extra space to create physical distance from one another, where possible.
- Showing your E-Ticket or paper ticket on your phone also helps provide physical distance. Drivers are wearing masks while scanning tickets and interacting with customers
Cleanliness and Sanitization
- We have increased the frequency of wipe-down cleaning of high touch areas onboard using a CDC recommended disinfectant.
- We have been and will continue to wash and wipe down all of our buses on a daily basis.
Taking care of our customers and employees is our #1 priority. Our team will continue to work hard to make sure we are all staying safe together.
Waiver of Liability/Assumption of Risk: The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is reported to be contagious. The state of medical knowledge is limited and evolving, but the virus is believed to spread from person-to-person contact and possibly by contact with contaminated surfaces and objects or in the air. People reportedly can be infected and show no symptoms and therefore spread the disease. The exact methods of spread and contraction are unknown, and there is no known treatment, cure, or vaccine for COVID-19, at this time. Evidence has shown that COVID-19 can cause serious and potentially life-threatening illness and even death. Despite significant efforts to regularly clean the bus and take appropriate measures to mitigate the presence of, or exposure to the COVID-19 virus, College Express cannot prevent you [or your child(ren), family and guests] from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while utilizing College Express's services or premises. It is not possible to prevent against the presence of the disease at all times and actual presence of the virus is an unknown. Anyone, anywhere, can contract, carry, or spread the virus at any time or place. A bus is a public space and subject to the conditions thereof and College Express and its employees assume no responsibility to police/enforce passenger compliance as to passenger mitigation efforts (wearing masks, distancing, following CDC guidelines) and/or state/federal executive orders, regulation, law or guidance. Therefore, if you choose to utilize College Express's services and/or enter onto/into College Express's premises or buses, you assume any/all risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19 or any other communicable disease. College Express encourages all passengers to wear proper face/breathing protection, follow CDC guidance and bring their own personal protective equipment (disinfectant, face masks, protective gloves, etc.)
